Supporting our local community
Established in Hull over 100 years ago, we have a strong heritage in the area and are committed to supporting local people, businesses and charitable groups through sponsorships, donations and giving time and resource for the benefit of the local community.
Our community investment and support is helping to contribute to the regeneration within Hull, raise educational and sporting aspirations amongst young people and provide support to smaller worthwhile causes through our Hull and East Riding Community Grants scheme.
In addition to our long-standing sponsorship of the KC Stadium we became proud sponsors of Hull City AFC in March 2007. As well as benefiting the club, the sponsorship also supports the aspirations of the supporters and the wider community.
Thanks to this sponsorship we have been able to give away hundreds of tickets, signed merchandise and mascot places, as special prizes to recognise achievements and to help raise funds for worthy local causes.
Through our sponsorship of The Deep's Learning Centre, we are delighted to support The Deep's commitment to lifelong learning. Our sponsorship also provides us with opportunities to give back to the community with free family passes as competition prizes and raffle prizes to assist community groups' fundraising activities, as well as through hosting trips to The Deep for local children who may not otherwise be able to visit the attraction.
